Welcome to Tail lights, we are a small and developing role play, with a warm and opening community which is hoped to grow over time. We have the basic plot of Corrupt (dark), Half (Neutral), Devout (light) - and with a added twist, there is a "resistance" pack, which strives for equality between all dogs. So, which will you be in?
Important information such as rules and plots can be found here, it is suggested to read this board first, or you probably won't understand how to play!
This is where all important announcements will be posted. From updates for the site to contests. This board contains important information, such as activity checks. So remember to keep a close eye on this, just so you don't miss anything new.
Anything you want to randomly shout out? Well, look no further than here. Any questions that need answering? Graphics you want done? Well then, just venture inside and see what this board has to offer.
Any old finished or dead threads will be moved here to stop the site from getting clogged up. Staff can move threads in or out of here at any time. It's just here so that the boards can stay clean and pretty.
If you wish to affliate with Rushfire or just simply post an add for your site on it you can post here. Make sure you post in either sub-board, depending on what you wish to do. Please follow our advertising and affliating rules though. This board is guest friendly.
Welcome to the start of the journey, beyond this point is one of the oldest dogs in the city. You've just arrived here, and so by canine law you must register your presence. This board allows you to do this.
It is the sad job of a group of canines to register the dead. After a character dies they must have their information submitted here by their owner so the staff know which characters are eligable for role play.
Is one of your characters responsible for creating the next generation of Chesco's ever growing canine citizens? Then post here. This is the birthing board, please fill out the forms and a member of staff will create your litter.
This board is for logging your characters. This means each user can make a post and write down all the characters they role play with, which ones are in a post, what relations the characters have and all that other stuff! This is a handy feature and is greatly encouraged.
This is basically the meeting/claiming place of Chesco, canines usually come here to make friends, find packs or find mates. Canel street winds its way through about 20 different pathways, making a large area not used by man. A canel runs straight the area, making a picturesque "venis like" scene. It is probably the most secluded and qiuet place in the city, but terribly overun with foxes.
It was not that long ago that Chesco's factories began to perish after a long recession period. It left a large, spacious warehouse, with metal doors and walls, high storage areas and varied amounts of cold steel shelves. Lifting machines were just left everywhere, like all the humans had just gone and never came back. Boxes of string are neatly piled up, in the shelves, on the floor and in the corners. It seems like heaven for the curious dog, so many spaces to adventure in. The soughting machine was left on, and it continues to keep on working. This is dangerous, if a nieve or stupid dog would go to close, it would be the end of them.
A few years ago, a investigation was carried out by a group of humans, who found the fairground of Chesco too dangerous for human use, leaving the whole place abandoned. The owner sold it on to a different company, however they are yet to make any modifications, this means the whole area is left to those who choose it. A feris wheel stands tall, a landmark of the fairground. Machines stand empty, once filled with treats like candy floss and sweets. A echo of joy only remains here, and is not to be seen no more.
Beautiful golden sand stretches out to the rushing clear blue water here at Brightwater Bay. The salty taste in the air follows you around as rays from the sky rain down on you. It's a rare occasion when this area is casted with bad weather. Generally, the beach is like a heaven on earth and you can always break into the old fish and chip shop to see if there's anything to wet your appetite. Mostly, the bay is a lovely place to come when it is empty, although that is a rather rare occasion. It's not often that you don't find it packed with other living beings who have come to laze around and enjoy the day at one of the most beautiful areas here in Chesco.
The underground of Chesco, a dangerous place for any wandering dog. This is one section of the vast connections of the underground train service that used to be. The tunnels are long and dark, almost as if you are walking into a darkened abyss. Abandoned trains that once sprinted through these darkened halls can be found blocking ways, but they are never to move again. Underground 25 has a sense that somebody is always watching you about it, that there’s more than just shadow in the darkness. Just watch your step, and especially on the tracks as well. The third rail still has a steady stream of electricity running into it, so don’t touch it, or else zap.
The devout pack's are a group that believe in justice, good and respect. They are known as the "light" pack, or the "good" pack. The area here is very serene and beautiful, it is placed in the outskirts of Chesco, in a large country area, not usually used by humans. Wildlife is abundant around here, and there are many places to explore. A happy feeling hangs in the air around here, to fit with the alliance.
The Half-way is a group of packs that are neutral. They do have a alliance, but they decide not to push towards either dark or light. They are un-decided. There lands are based on the east side of the city, near the highway and the park. There is a block of land which is very large, but isn't used by humans, and therefore is inhabited by these neutral canines. There also is a small clutch of tree's, making a "miniture" forest.
The darks. Canines that follow these packs tend to be devious, black hearted, cold dogs, that only care for themselves and maybe those close to them. They are a very tight knitted group, that does not do more then spit on any other alliance, and they are pretty sour to eachother as well. The area is shady, and situated in the North of City, at the point where it seems to always rain. They have a large amount of the sewers and a few streets to their name.
The resistance is not a alliance, but just one pack. Any allianced character can join, it is just a question of if you will be accepted. The resistance is a pack of all different alliances, but they choose not to lead that path. These dogs fight for equality, and have a large-ish car park as their "base". There is a abandoned building next to it to provide shelter.
These are the breeding grounds. The junkyard is a place which provides privacy, although maybe is not the nicest place for dogs to gather. It is normally a silent area, with only a few rats scuttling around searching through the trash. Don't wander here unprotected, it may be one of your biggest mistakes. After your characters have bred, please post their stats on the birthing grounds to acquire pups, and also remember, absolutely no graphic breeding.
This is the fighting grounds. Subway 52 is a gray area, that's pretty much the only colour in sight, that and maybe a few dark, washed out stains of blood. Because if you have a problem with someone, this is where you come. This is where all big fights break out. Each fighter gets 3 attacks and two dodges. Then the fight is over and is judged by a staff member.
